A merchant seaman in his younger days Jackie had a life long interest in shipping and the sea. This painting is part of a series he did around Warrenpoint harbour and the Co Down coastline. A view many of us seen in our childhood from the back window of family cars as we headed to Cranfield for Sunday beaching and preaching!
