Sunshine after rain
The 3rd painting is called “sunshine after rain” and signed Connolly. The only subject is my father’s pub. Not long after the painting was finished, the pub was bombed and we emigrated to Australia.

This painting of my father-in-law was painted in Lofthus, Norway in 1983. It was the first time my father Jackie had met Kjell, who was relaxing by the fire after a hard day’s work harvesting fruit.
