Church St today

Church St today

My Father, Tommy Devlin, came out of his pub (Gannon Fort) to find Jackie painting this scene. When my Dad asked if it was for sale and got talking, Jackie told him he also had his impression of Church St from 100 years ago (150 now). My Father bought both and asked Jackie to also do another of the pub. The 3 paintings now hang side by side in my home in London. I should say he signed the first two Molyneux and the third Connolly. My Dad said it was to increase his customer base.

The Molyneux name means “from the mill” or “miller” – Jackie was from the Mill Row.
